01The challenge

We were tasked with designing a series of posters for various large-format printers, each centred around different themes. The challenge was not only to create visually compelling designs but also to evoke specific emotions and make a meaningful impact on viewers. Each theme had to resonate with its intended audience, while showcasing creativity and technical skill across diverse concepts and mediums.

02Solution

To meet this challenge, I focused on creating a wide range of poster designs, each tailored to a specific theme, in order to demonstrate versatility in both style and concept. For a café setting, I designed posters and tent cards with a whimsical, “cute” theme that invites a sense of warmth and playfulness, perfect for cozy environments. I also developed a vibrant, cartoon-style poster for a bedroom, drawing inspiration from outer space to evoke a sense of wonder and adventure. Additionally, I designed a computer banner for a mock company centred around the theme of nature, featuring lush greenery and leaf motifs to emphasize sustainability and freshness. Each poster not only showcases different design techniques but also aims to connect emotionally with its audience, making them feel engaged and inspired by the visual storytelling.
