DK Findout Redesign

This group project focused on developing a creative solution to a challenge presented by the team at DK Findout! Our goal was to attract more families and children to their website, boosting both book sales and site traffic. The VP of DK Findout! highlighted during a class meeting that their website was outdated, making it a key area for improvement in our proposal.

Our solution consists of a four-part prototype designed to revitalize DK Findout!’s website and strengthen its connection to their print books. First, we redesigned the website’s user interface, featuring intuitive navigation panels for “Books,” “Kids,” “Parents,” “Teachers,” “Bonus Content,” and “About,” along with a login feature to save user data and access bonus content. Second, we introduced special edition codes within books that unlock exclusive online materials, adding value and encouraging purchases. Third, the bonus content includes printable learning tools like discussion questions, quizzes, and case studies, as well as interactive activities such as colouring pages, word searches, and foldable fortune tellers. This comprehensive redesign aims to engage families, enhance learning, and drive traffic to the DK Findout! website.
